农九师164团党委以改革创新精神加强党的建设,夺取了党建工作和经济社会发展双丰收。2007年,全团10个基层连队党支部中有9个达到团级“五好”党支部标准,有7个达到师级“五好”党支部标准,有1个被兵团命名为“五好”连队党支部。该团2003年至2006年连续4年被师党委命名为“基层组织建设先进团场”。2007年全团生产总值达到7000万元,同比增长13%,全团职均收入12500元,其中农业一线职均承包收入10542元,同比增长27.4%。
