Comrade Leifeng, a contingent of transport engineers of the Shenyang People’s Liberation Army Corps of Engineers, is a conscious proletarian revolutionary warrior. In April 1961, this newspaper published a report on “bitter kid - good soldier”, introducing the moving deeds of Comrade Lei Feng. Now, Comrade Lei Feng has unfortunately lost his life to Koong Rong. His life was only twenty-two years old, but in his short life, he demonstrated his lofty communist character and great revolutionary spirit. His proletarian consciousness, the quality of serving the people wholeheartedly, his conscientious attitude toward his work, his painstaking study of Chairman Mao’s works and his continual improvement of his fine style of work are examples of our learning. ...
