近几年来,我国各种形式的成人学历教育如雨后春笋般迅猛发展,为社会主义物质文明和精神文明建设培养和造就了数以万计的合格人才。但由于成人学历教育与普通学历教育相比较,它的产生和发展毕竟晚得多,加上一些办学单位和主管部门对社会主义市场经济对成人学历教育提出的要求估计不足、缺乏预见,成人学历教育工作中不同程度地存在办学与社会需求脱节、学习与实际应用脱节;教育思想、教学内容和教学方法也不尽符合成人的特点和要求;在管理上也缺乏宏观的指导与调控等问题。主要表现形式为:
