2011年5月13日11时,沈阳市于洪区疾控中心在中国疾病预防控制信息系统上监测到于洪区某幼儿园发现11例手足口病临床确诊病例及2例疑似病例。本中心立即组织流调与消毒人员赶赴现场进行疫情处理。结合患者症状体征及医院临床确诊,确定为一起手足口病爆发疫情,经过采取隔离患者、对症治疗、封闭幼儿园2~3周并对幼儿园进行终末消毒等针对性的控制措施,截止5月30日该幼儿园再无病例发
