2011年3月5日,随着最后一架中国政府包机抵达上海,持续12天、海陆空联动撤离我在利比亚35860名人员行动圆满结束,被评为新中国成立以来速度最快、人数最多、规模最大的海外撤离行动。胡锦涛、温家宝、张德江等中央领导高度肯定,社会各界广泛赞誉。戴秉国国务委员评价说“这是全体中国人集体奏响的一支气势恢宏、响彻中外的英雄交响曲”。
