四川省委、省政府决定在四川省展览馆正式开设《四川优秀人才馆》和《四川科技成果馆》,以宣传知识分子业绩,展示我省科技实力。《四川优秀人才馆》首批展示了138位优秀人才的业绩,其中专业技术干部104人,工人14人、农民20人;中青年占44.2％。展览内容体现了“科技兴川,人才是关键”和”行行出状元”的精神。《四川科技成果馆》选择以具有较高水平的获得国家及省部级奖励的重大项目为主体,同时适当加大了一些取得显著效益的技术、专利发明项目的比重,以突出科技在促进经济发展中举足轻
