调解作为一种“东方经验”在中国源远流长。虽然治安调解制度有其存在的必要性优越性,然而我们也应当认识到:实践中治安调解工作出现的一些突出问题极大地影响了治安调解制度功能的充分发挥。
Mediation as a “Oriental Experience” has a long history in China. Although the system of law and order mediation has the necessity of its existence, we should also recognize that some outstanding problems in law and order mediation greatly affect the function of law and order mediation system in practice.
