硼是棉花生长发育过程中不可缺少的一种微量元素。土壤缺硼就要影响棉花的产量和品质。为了探索棉花施用硼肥在我县的增产效果及推广应用,在华中农学院土化系农化教研室的指导下,从1980年开始连续三年进行了施硼试验和示范。其结果表明,棉花施用硼肥具有投资少、方法简便、增产效果显著等好处。现将三年试验结果简报如下:
Boron is an indispensable trace element in cotton growth and development. Soil boron deficiency will affect the yield and quality of cotton. In order to explore the application of boron fertilizer in cotton yield increasing effect and popularization and application in our county, under the guidance of the Department of Soil Chemistry and Pesticides Teaching and Research Institute of Huazhong Agricultural College, boron fertilizers were tested and demonstrated for three consecutive years since 1980. The results show that the application of boron fertilizer with less investment in cotton, the method is simple, yield significant benefits. Now three years trial results briefed as follows:
