水葫芦种苗越冬,我们公社过去是采用温床水保的方法。这种方法占用土地面积大、需要材料多、花费工本大。去年,我们公社农科站的科技人员和贫下中农一道,大胆设想,勇于闯新,采用地窖干保水葫芦种苗,在全社8个大队进行试验,获得成功。水葫芦种苗地窖干保的优点是:省工、省地、省材料。简单易搞。保种量是同等面积温床保种量的20多倍,如管理得当,成活率可达100%。
