新疆乌伦布拉克铜矿含矿花岗质潜火山杂岩包括由先而后依次侵入的浅成相闪长岩、石英闪长岩、斜长花岗岩和超浅成或次火山相英安玢岩以及与之密切伴生的英安玢岩质隐爆角砾岩。含矿杂岩属钙碱系列,具有低Si、低碱,富Na贫K,过铝质-偏铝质,轻稀土富集、重稀土亏损、铕弱负异常,强不相容元素相对富集,Nb和Ti强烈亏损,Rb、Th、K、Tb相对富集等岩石地球化学特点,成因上属造山壳幔同熔型花岗岩类。杂岩体由早到晚逐渐向富Si、碱、K,贫Na、Fe、Mg方向结晶分异演化,铜矿化也随之逐渐增强。
