科技档案是指国家机构、社会组织以及个人从事各项社会活动形成的、对国家、社会、本单位和个人具有保存价值的、应当归档保存的科技文件,它是科技活动的产物和真实记录。为了保护国家机密以及科技成果发明人的权益,并有利于科技进步与经济发展,必须对科技档案进行安全管理。
