Objective To understand the improvement of blood biochemical parameters and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes after intervention. Methods A total of 78 diabetic patients in a community of Shanghai were selected as the intervention group and 92 diabetic patients as the control group. The intervention group was given a one-year intervention. The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), apolipoprotein a Apo-a), apolipoprotein b (Apo-b), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1C) and other biochemical indicators were measured by SF-36 quality of life questionnaire survey. Results The results of covariance analysis showed that the HDL-C of female after intervention was higher than that of before intervention; the Apo-a of male and female diabetic patients after intervention were higher than those before intervention and Apo-b were lower than before intervention; the male HbA1C after intervention was lower than Before intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Physiological function, physiological function, emotional function, general health status and physical pain index of female patients with diabetes were better than those before intervention (P <0.05). Somatic pain was found in male patients with diabetes mellitus, and social function indexes were better than those before intervention (P <0.05). Conclusion The blood lipids in diabetic patients have been controlled to a certain extent. Compared with male patients, female patients with diabetes after the intervention to improve the quality of life more pronounced.
