广西合山电厂第一台2.5万千瓦机组于1971年建成投产,经几度扩建,目前装机52.5万千瓦,是广西目前已建的最大火电厂。一、地基沉陷的经过 1972年1月5日,原空压机房西面墙体的内墙上角和西面墙基发生裂缝。过了两天,裂缝继续扩大,2#3#除尘器的筒身及个别柱发生裂缝。至1月15日原空压机房西面墙基裂缝宽达11～15毫米,室内的右窗角已裂开26毫米,有倾倒之势。2号炉3#除尘器筒身裂缝宽20～25毫米,长5.54米,靠2#除尘器的边柱裂开12～30毫米,1号炉2#除尘器的边柱发生裂缝,在约150平方米的范围内,地面均处于不断的沉降之中。
