女儿和另一位同学被选为学校代表,去参加市中小学生诗歌朗诵比赛。为了这件事,女儿在家辛苦排练了很久。可最后,比赛却规定每个学校只能有一位代表,女儿因没有曾参赛的经验而落选了。这件事给女儿的打击很大,她流着泪问我:“妈妈,我好想参加比赛,如果我能参赛,我相信我一定可以获奖的。可是为什么非得要经验呀?为什么大家都不相信我?我都不想活了!”
The daughter and another classmate were chosen as school representatives to participate in the city primary and secondary school students poetry reading contest. In order to do this, my daughter worked hard at home for a long time. But finally, the competition stipulated that there should be only one delegate for each school, and her daughter was unsuccessful for having no experience of participating. She was in tears and asked me, “Mom, I really want to participate in the competition, if I can participate, I believe I will be able to win the award. But why have to experience it?
