电脑音乐从传统意义上来说和MIDI(乐器间的数字接口)是一样的概念,都是指计算机音讯软件的运用和电子乐器的数字化,他们的核心技术都是围绕着“音色”展开的,从FM调频到PCM采样回放,从VA仿真声学到APM物理模型都在说着电脑音乐与电子乐器是不可分离的,电子乐器的发展和技术变革史就是一部“音色”采样史。但电脑音乐从设备上与传统音乐设备存在根本性差异,计算机数字信息压缩技术、可存储可读写技术、多维信息处理技术、人工智能技术等等,这些传统音乐不具备的高科技硬件设施,给音乐领域尤其是音乐教学带来了全新理念,电脑音乐在计算机技术的支持下将会给我们带来更多地惊喜。
