由30个部门、45名运动员组成的中央国家机关代表队,于3月21日至26日在海南省三亚市参加了首届世界太极拳健康大会。代表队临行前,中央国家机关工委副书记、中央国家机关工会联合会主席周敬东,前往集训地看望参赛队员并做了赛前动员。经过5天的紧张比赛,中央国家机关代表队获得了30人团体24式太极拳特等奖、8人团体24式太极拳特等奖。中央国家机关工会联合会还荣获国家体育总局武术运动管理中心、中国武术协会、首届世界太极拳健康大会组委会联合颁发的太极拳特别推广奖。
A team of central state organs composed of 30 departments and 45 athletes took part in the first World Taijiquan Health Assembly in Sanya City, Hainan Province from March 21 to March 26. Prior to the departure of the team, Zhou Jingdong, deputy secretary of the Work Committee of the Central Government, and chairman of the Central-State Assembly of Trade Unions, visited the training camps to see the team members and mobilized them before the competition. After five days of intense competition, the Central Government Agencies won the top-level 24-type Taijiquan Grand Prize for 30-member groups and the 24-type Taijiquan Grand Prize for 8-member groups. The Central Government Offices Federation of Trade Unions also won the Taijiquan Special Promotion Award jointly issued by the Wushu Administration Center of the State Sports General Administration, the Chinese Wushu Association and the Organizing Committee of the First World Taijiquan Health Assembly.
