用小波变换的方法分析多组分溶液的吸收光谱, 可以测量多组分混合溶液中各组分的含量。我们只需知道待测组分的标准吸收光谱和混合溶液的吸收光谱, 而不必知道其它的组分和噪声的性质, 也不必用物理或化学的方法将待测组分从混合物中提取出来, 利用小波变换的时频特性和多尺度的性质, 在一个合适的尺度下, 可以准确地测量待测组分的浓度而抑制其它组分的影响。用同样的方法, 可以将混合物中所有已知组分的浓度计算出来。也就是说, 只要知道混合物中某一物质存在,利用紫外- 可见光光谱分析仪,就可以将该物质的含量求出来。这种方法与传统的方法相比, 要求的条件较低, 不需物理或化学的分离, 分析速度快, 精确度也较高。
