The purpose of this article is to explore the possibility of predicting neonatal distress in term infants. This article analyzes 168 high-risk, full-term, high-risk individuals with a birth weight of> 2,500 g, accounting for 8% of all deliveries and 14% of total high-risk pregnancies, from July 1979 to June 1980 at Ohio State University Hospital. . The main complications are: 1. Neonatal infection suspicious: maternal temperature rise> 38 ℃, amniotic fluid during childbirth odor, neonatal respiratory rate increased faster> 60 beats / min, abnormal blood, gastric juice analysis of the existence of white blood cells and bacteria. 2. Metabolic disorders: hypoglycemia (blood glucose <30mg%), hypocalcemia (calcium <7 mg%), mothers of these newborns often have insulin-dependent diabetes (28/30) or have drug addiction Or, these newborns appear somnolence, breathing pauses, agitation, irritability or twitching.
