由毛泽东亲自主编、以“中共中央办公厅”名义出版的《中国农村的社会主义高潮》一书,1956年初在全国正式发行。这部书共分上、中、下三册,收入文章176篇,共计94万多字。毛泽东不仅为该书写了“序言”,还为书中的部分重要文章亲笔写了“本书编者按”。河南省有6篇文章入选,其中2篇出自许昌地区,并且两篇文章都有毛泽东加的“编者按”语。许昌地区入选的两篇文章，有一篇被毛泽东在“按”语中称作是“好文章”。其题目是在《一个乡里进行合作化规划的经验》毛泽东写的“按”语全文为：“这也是一篇好文章，可作各地参考。其中提到组织中学生和高小毕业生参加合作化的工作，值得特别注意。一切可以到农村中去工作的这样的知识分子，应当高兴地到那里去。农村是一个广阔的天地，在那里是可以大有作为的。”另一篇，题目别许昌地区的办社辅导团》。毛泽东写的“按”语原文为：“这个经验很好，各地可以仿行。”
The book entitled “The Socialist Climax of China’s Rural Areas” authored by Mao Zedong and authored in the name of “General Office of the CPC Central Committee” was officially launched in China in early 1956.
