当前,全党上下正在深入开展以为民务实清廉为主要内容的党的群众路线教育实践活动。这是党中央在新形势下加强马克思主义执政党建设的重大部署,是推进中国特色社会主义伟大事业的重大举措。一、坚持党的群众路线的重大意义坚持群众路线是马克思主义唯物史观的根本要求,是中国共产党成立90多年来创造并发展的一条重要经验,是党立于不败之地的根本所在。在世情、国情、党情发生巨大变化的今天,坚持群众路线,关系到我们党的生死存亡和党的事业兴衰成败。
At present, the entire party is conducting in-depth education and practical activities in the party’s mass line that take civil works as its main content. This is a major step taken by the Central Government to strengthen the building of a Marxist ruling party under the new situation and is a major measure for promoting the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. I. Main Significance of Adhering to the Mass Line of the Party The adherence to the mass line is the fundamental requirement of Marxist historical materialism. It is an important experience created and developed by the Chinese Communist Party over the past 90 years and is the fundamental place where the party stands in an invincible position. In today’s world, great changes have taken place in the national conditions and the party’s conditions, upholding the mass line has a bearing on the success and failure of our party’s survival and death and the party’s cause.
