山东省药材公司为了继承祖国医药遗产,培养中药材接班人,解决后继无人问题,在泰安建立了一所中药材技工学校,学制二年。开设药用植物;生产栽培;中医基础和药物化学;中药材饮片加工炮炙及中药学基础知识和鉴别等五门专业课程。同时有计划地组织学生上山采药,到中药厂、种药场实习,坚持理论与实践相结合,使学生在二年内初步掌握中药知识。
