河南渑池县北境任家堆一带峡谷河段,北岸有白浪堆、老鸦石堆、任家堆、小堆、大堆等五个堆,南岸也有四、五个堆。堆的位置都在河湾的突出山咀处。两堆之间视线无阻隔。堆下距河面约三十米左右。其中任家堆保存较完整,夯土筑成,原建筑可能是方形,现在能看到的是一个柱状黄土台,总高度约有十米,跨两级梯田;直径约有六米,顶部直径约有三米多。据当地群众讲,原先顶部周围有砖饰女儿
