A variety of sources The breed Department of Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences bred Laizhou, the original test code 9738. Female parent DH0 8, male parent P138. Introduced by Ningxia Seed Management Station in 1996. After 2 years of regional experiment and 2 years of large-scale demonstration, the plant exhibited the advantages of semi-compact plant type, large spike, high seed yield, wide adaptability, good disease resistance and mature live stalk. The breed has been in Ningxia in February 2000
