中国共产党的优秀党员,著名水利水电工程专家和工程教育学家,中国水利水电事业的主要开拓者之一,第六、七届全国政协常务委员,九三学社中央委员会原顾问,中国科学院院士,中国工程院院士,北京市政协原副主席,清华大学原副校长因病于2013年6月21日在北京逝世,享年101岁。张光斗病重期间和逝世后,中央有关领导以不同方式表示慰问和哀悼。
Outstanding Party member of CPC, well-known water conservancy and hydropower engineering expert and engineering educationist, one of the major pioneers of China’s water conservancy and hydropower, one of the 6th and 7th CPPCC Standing Committee members, former consultant of the Central Committee of Jiu San Society, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering Academician, former vice chairman of CPPCC Beijing Municipal Committee of CPPCC, former vice president of Tsinghua University died of illness on June 21, 2013 in Beijing at the age of 101. After Zhang Guangtou was seriously ill and died, leaders of the Central Government expressed his condolences and condolences in different ways.
