伊犁盆地上二叠统主要为河湖相泥岩和砂、砾岩。晓山萨依组以孢粉Cordaitina-Hamiapolenites-Vitatina组合为特征,与准噶尔乌拉泊组的孢粉组合相似;哈米斯特组为火山岩、火山碎屑岩和凝灰质砂砾岩,含Palaeonodonta,Anthraconauta等双壳化石,可与井井子沟组部分或大部分对比;铁木里克组以细粒沉积为特征,含“MPPAO”双壳组合和Cordaitina-Crucisaccites-Protohaploxypinus孢粉组合,与准噶尔芦草沟组的特征相似;巴卡勒河组仍含“MPPAO”双壳组合,但类别较丰富,与红雁池组相同。本组顶部的介形类组合和孢粉组合显示可能属于下仓房沟群;巴斯尔干组产晚二叠世介形类,相当下仓房沟群。
The Upper Permian in the Yili Basin is mainly composed of lacustrine mudstone, sand and conglomerate. The Xiayishan Formation is characterized by the Cordaitina-Hamiapolenites-Vitatina assemblage and is similar to the sporopollen assemblage in the Wula’erbo Formation, Junggar; the Hamisite Formation is a volcanic, pyroclastic and tuffaceous conglomerate containing Palaeonodonta, Anthraconauta Such as bivalve fossils, can be compared with Jingjingzigou Formation in part or most of the area. The Tiemurike Formation is characterized by fine-grained sediments, including “MPPAO” double-shell assemblage and Cordaitina-Crucisaccites-Protohaploxypinus spore-pollen assemblage, The characteristics of the ditch group are similar; the Bacalek group still contains the “MPPAO” bivalve combination, but the category is richer, which is the same as that of the Hongyanchi group. Ostracoda assemblages and sporopollen assemblages at the top of this group show that they may belong to the Xiakuanganggou group. Basalgan group produces Late Permian ostracods, which is equivalent to Cangfanggou Group.
