《点石斋画报》是清末《申报》创刊的新闻画刊。自1884年始,1898年停刊,刊行15年。早期作为《申报》的旬刊附赠,流行于上海及中国其他大城市。《点石斋画报》开图说新闻风气之先,此后全国各地的晚清画报层出不穷,却未有超越者。20世纪80年代,鲁迅的好友、著名学者郑振铎先生在回顾中国绘画近百年的发展时,称赞《点石斋画报》“乃是中国近百年很好的画史”。《点石斋画报》中描绘洋场风物的新闻画,也是苏州风俗画在融汇西方文明后的创新,吴友如等一派从业于点石斋的画师们也
“Dian Shi Zhai Pictorial” is the late Qing Dynasty “Shenbao” founded the news picture magazine. Since 1884, ceased publication in 1898, published for 15 years.
