欧美文学在现实主义和现代主义之上产生了后现代写作思潮,荒诞、表现主义以及垮掉一派等。世界荒谬的现实状态,人的价值观已经不能给现实社会带来指导意义,新现实主义文学应运而生。约翰·契弗就是美国新现实主义小说的代表人物,被誉为“美国郊区的契科夫”。他在借鉴现代主义写作手法的同时,还在传统现实主义中拿来精髓,甚至加入了现实魔幻主义色彩。通过对约翰·契弗文学作品的解读,抛弃后现代对于价值观的解构,将情感的零介入和原汁原味还原生活为主,力图将语境即世界还给读者,从而带来真实的阅读冲击力。
European and American literature have created post-modern writing thoughts, absurdity, expressionism and betrayal over realism and modernism. The absurd reality of the world and human values can no longer bring guiding significance to the real society. Neorealism literature came into being. John Cheever is a representative of the Neo-Realistic novels in the United States and is known as “Chekov” on the outskirts of the United States. While learning from the modernist writing techniques, he also brought the essence of traditional realism and even joined the realistic magical color. Through the interpretation of John Cheever’s literary works, abandoning post-modern deconstruction of values, zero intervention of emotions and original life reduction, trying to return the context of the world to the reader, so as to bring real reading impact force.
