监狱的功能除了惩罚与威慑,更重要的是改造。今天除了传统的监管改造、教育改造、劳动改造外,心理矫治逐渐发展成为第四种改造手段。罪犯从一定意义上来讲,人格心理不健全需要矫正师的矫正,监狱是服刑人员之间实现被拯救的圣地,但提到心理拯救,我们往往忽视了矫正师自身的心理,服刑人员并非是完全绝对的弱势和被改造人群,监狱人民警察也受到了无可避免的职业侵害,如果监狱矫正警察自身与服刑人员的心理健康状况不良,很可能导致压抑的氛围,从而导致恶性事件的发生。因此,心理督导变得尤为重要。
