天线的极化特性是描述天线性能的重要参数,是雷达目标特性测量领域的基础性问题,对于实际的雷达天线而言,其极化特性的外场测量是一项复杂而又艰巨的工作。文章提出了一种基于定标体散射特性的天线极化特性的测量处理方法,建立了雷达波束扫描定标体的接收回波模型,可实现对线极化和圆极化天线极化特性的测量,给出了外场实验布局和测量步骤,实测数据和仿真实验证明了该方法的可行性。该方法能够有效地减少设备量和降低测量成本,提高雷达远场的逼真度。
The polarization characteristic of the antenna is an important parameter to describe the performance of the antenna. It is a basic problem in the field of the radar target characteristic measurement. For the actual radar antenna, the field measurement of the polarization characteristic is a complicated and arduous task. In this paper, a method of measuring and processing the polarization characteristics of antenna based on the scattering characteristics of calibration body is proposed. The received echo model of radar calibration body is established, which can realize the polarization characteristics of linear and circularly polarized antennas The experimental layout and measuring procedure are given. The measured data and simulation results show the feasibility of the method. The method can effectively reduce the amount of equipment and reduce the measurement cost, and improve the fidelity of the radar far field.
