受林业部国际合作司委托,作者参加了1995年11月20-24日在意大利罗马粮农组织总部召开的林业统计工作组会议。本次会议为第一届 FAO 林业统计工作组会议。参加会议的有来自主要成员国、地区、有关国际组织、非政府组织和私有部门的代表共23人。会议的主要目的是汇集有关专家,总结 FAO 林业统计工作过去50年的经验与教训,并为未来的发展献计献策。同时,为落实联合国环境与发展大会的精神,讨论林业统计中有关可持续的林业经
Commissioned by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Forestry, the author participated in a meeting of the Working Group on Forestry Statistics at FAO Headquarters, Rome, Italy, from 20-24 November 1995. This meeting is the first FAO Forestry Statistics Working Group meeting. A total of 23 delegates from major member states, regions, relevant international organizations, non-governmental organizations and the private sector attended the conference. The main purpose of the meeting was to bring together relevant experts to summarize the experiences and lessons learned from the past 50 years of FAO forestry statistics and to give suggestions for future development. In the meantime, in order to implement the spirit of the UN Conference on Environment and Development, and discuss issues related to forestry statistics on sustainable forestry
