近年来,我们在引种新疆核桃和核桃良种选育中,发现一些枝条类型与结果的早晚有明显的相关性。其中具有主付芽二者离生,主芽抽生1-5厘米长,并距叶柄或叶迹较远(枝条基部在0.5厘米以上,中部在1厘米以上)的苗木,2-3年即能结果。枝条类型见图。由于此种类型的主芽多形成花芽,抽生结果枝,顶端结果,叶腋间的主芽继续形成花芽,来年开花结果,抽生枝条,具有连年结果的特性。在禹县方山公社彭沟大队核桃园内的2号和8号核桃就是此种类型,苗木第二年开始结果,产量逐年提高。是当前较有希望的早产、丰产类型。近几年产量详见下表。
