红科特(Redcort)红科特是科特兰苹果(Cortland)的偶然突变品种,属科特兰型苹果。该新品种是在纽约赫德森谷地(Hudson Valley)马尔博罗(Marlboro)的一果园中所发现的枝变。它具有科特兰苹果一样的典型品质,且色泽更为鲜红,着色率可达90%,果肉呈白色、多汁而细脆。红科特苹果树的开花日期和授粉特点与科特兰类似。该品种大都在枝条顶端同时也在短果枝上结果。树势较旺,生长直立,易嫁接在矮砧上。红科特可以较早上市,不必待着色即可采收、耐贮藏。
Redcort (Redcort) Redcote is a Cortland accidental mutant varieties, Coturnum apple. The new breed is found in an orchard in Marlboro, Hudson Valley, New York. It has the same Cortland apple typical quality, and the color is more bright red, coloring up to 90%, the flesh is white, juicy and crisp. Redcote apple tree flowering date and pollination characteristics similar to Cortland. Most of the varieties in the branches at the same time also short fruit on the results. Tree vigor is more prosperous, growing upright, easy grafting on the dwarf anvil. Red Cove can be listed earlier, do not have to be colored to be harvested, resistant to storage.
