今年6月28日惠好公司在华盛顿圣海伦斯林场集会,庆祝美国绿化事业的两部里程碑。一是庆祝为执行该公司“丰产绿化计划”而种植的第20亿棵树。二是庆祝该公司在圣海伦斯山火山爆发区内的工地全部绿化。“丰产绿化计划”于1966年为该公司董事会所通过。这部计划旨在强化森林管理,以便尽快提高产量和产值并降低成本。这部计划包括在收获、施肥、间苗及采取其他造林技术措施以后,即刻种植1龄至3龄的遗传优胜树苗。
June 28 this year, Hui Ho company in St. Helens, Washington rally, to celebrate the two landmark United States afforestation. One is to celebrate the 2 billionth tree planted to implement the company’s “High Yield and Afforestation Plan.” Second, celebrate the company’s greening in the site of the Mount St. Helens volcanic eruption. The “Green Production Plan” was passed by the board of directors of the company in 1966. The plan aims to strengthen forest management in order to increase production and output value as soon as possible and reduce costs. The plan includes the immediate planting of genetically superior saplings from the first to the third instar after harvest, fertilization, sapling and other afforestation techniques.
