Provided a thermodynamic analysis and experimental study on the application of a novel azeotropic mixture HFC134a / HFC152a in the refrigerator. The phase equilibrium calculation shows that the new refrigerant is an azeotropic mixture. The thermodynamic analysis and experimental studies show that the new azeotropic refrigerant HFC134a / HFC152a has similar thermal properties compared with the original refrigerant CFC12.
