书刊是人类的精神财富,也是一份宝贵财产,如果保管不当,就可能霉烂、虫蛀或受潮变质。根据我的经验,介绍点保管办法供参考。潮湿对图书是十分不利的。因为纸张中非纤维素成分或残留在纸张中的酸碱、漂白粉等化学物质,在高温、高湿度影响下,会造成纸张的老化和对纸张的纤维发生腐蚀作用。另外,潮湿还能造成图书的霉烂和虫蛀,所以家庭的书架、书柜要放在干燥通风的地方。
