席慕容,女,蒙古族,1943年生于四川重庆,祖籍察哈尔盟明安旗贵族。蒙古族王族之后,外婆是王族公主。十三岁起在日记中写诗,十四岁入台北师范艺术科,后又入台湾师范大学艺术系。1964年入比利时布鲁塞尔皇家艺术学院专攻油画。毕业后任台湾新竹师专美术科副教授。举办过数十次个人画展,出过画集,多次获多种绘画奖。1981年,台湾大地出版社出版席慕容的第一本诗集《七里香》,一年之内再版七次。她是台湾知名画家,更是著名散文家与诗人,著有诗集《无怨的青春》《时光九篇》,散文集《有一首歌》《江山有诗》,美术论著《心灵的探索》《雷色艺术异论》等。她的作品浸润东方古老哲学,带有宗教色彩,透露出一种人生无常的苍凉韵味。席慕容多写爱情、人生、乡愁,写得极美,淡雅剔透,抒情灵动,饱含着对生命的挚爱真情。影响了整整一代人的成长历程。
Xi Murong, female, Mongolian, was born in 1943 in Chongqing, Sichuan Province. His ancestral home is a nobleman of the Ming’an Banner of the Chahar League. She is the author of a collection of poems “Youth Without Complaints,” “Nine Times”, a collection of essays “One Song”, “Poetry with Jiangshan”, and “The Exploration of the Soul” by the Fine Arts. “Lei-color art different” and so on.
