There are about 100 species, subspecies and varieties of Volvariella. But edible species are very few. There are only three species that have been artificially cultivated at present, namely Volvariella volvacea cultivated in China and Southeast Asian countries, Volvariella esculenta cultivated in Thailand, and Volvariella diplasia cultivated in India. In order to meet the needs of scientific research and production, the development of new edible fungi resources, the author in August 1981 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province Oak, April 1982 in Sanming City, Fujian Province, hanging bell
