《大学英语教学大纲》(高等学校理工科本科用)于1985年由原教育部颁布执行。七年来,我国大学英语教学发生了深刻的变化,教学质量有了明显的提高。国家教委分别于1987年9月、1989年1月开始组织大学英语四、六级标准考试;考试实施以来,取得了预期的效果。四、六级考试促进了《大学英语教学大纲》的贯彻,推动了大学英语教学改革,进一步提高了大学英语教学质量。值得指出的是,应试考生人数以及通过考试的人
