农广校是一所比较特殊的学校,它所肩负的任务是面向三农、服务三农,以培训带教学,以教学带培训的这样一个特殊职能。因此,教学质量是农广校生存和发展的永恒主题。为了提高教学质量,培养更多更合格的农村基层实用技术人才,我校锲而不舍、锐意进取,多少年来,一直在不断探索提高教学质量中狠下功夫。这几年逐渐摸索出了一套关于进一步提高教学质量,加强教学管理体制这样一套行之有效的方法。以前农广校任用教师主要以聘用为主,因为以前农广校的人员素质特别差,有些县校刊也将农广校作为养老院来看待,从98年以后,地区农广校通过各方协调,各县农广校的力量有所加强,队伍建设也强大起来。有些县校就采用自己的教师授课的方法。自有些县(区)校教师聘任由“外聘转为内聘”和正式聘任前实行“试讲制”之后,又组织专职干部登上了讲台,亲自任教,走起了“教管结合”的路子。目前,又有些办学点正在努力让专职人员任课,经过多年的实践,证明走“教管结合”之路是正确之举。它的好处主要有以下几个方面：
