为落实党的十四届六中全会精神,配合市委、市政府给群众办实事,经市领导批准,北京日报从1997年1月1日至12月31日用一年时间,开办“每天帮您办好事”栏目。该栏目由市长电话网络与北京日报合办。 栏目每天刊登一篇以上读者来信,反映读者日常生活当中的难事和有关部门及时解决的回音。栏目开办一个月,共刊登稿件72篇,收到来信600余封,接到电话干余个。这么多来信和电话,一方面说明老百姓生活中确有不少难事,另一方面又表明有不少事难办。
