2013年,余永奇老人已经80岁了,与其他老人不同的是,他没有在家享受儿孙绕膝的天伦之乐,而是在黄陂老家开辟了一块“桃花源”式的场地,义务为年轻人讲授做人的道理。他讲课的地点不固定,草棚里、树荫下都是他的教室。他没有教材,劳作、亲近自然、尊重历史是他必讲的内容。20年来,慕名来这里上课、听讲的中小学生及大学生多达10万人次,听后,大家都表示受益良多。
