本文意在指出学生在使用初中英语教材第三册中的某些动词,如keep,look,feel,fall,grow,get时常犯的错误,并在更正后略做讲解。 这些动词既可做系动词也可做行为动词。做系动词没有完整的词义,与后面的表语构成复合谓语。用于句型第三种S+V+P。look和feel表示某种感觉;keep表示状态的持续;fall,grow和get表示状态的变化。做行为动词时,有其他多种词义和用法。现分别介绍如下(凡带*者,均为错句):
The purpose of this article is to point out the mistakes students often make when using verbs such as keep, look, feel, fall, grow, and get in the third volume of junior high school English textbooks, and explain them slightly after correcting them. These verbs can be both verbs and action verbs. There is no complete meaning of the system verb, and it forms a compound predicate with the following predicates. Used for the sentence type S+V+P. Look and feel represent a certain feeling; keep represents the continuation of the state; fall, grow, and get represent changes in the state. When doing action verbs, there are many other meanings and usages. The following are introduced separately (when with *, are all wrong sentences):
