In English teaching, there often exists the phenomenon of “high input and low income”, that is, teachers teach hard, students learn fatigue, and learning efficiency is not high. Therefore, under the new curriculum concept, it is the pursuit of English teachers to construct an effective classroom teaching model with students as the main body. This requires teachers to change their ideas, optimize teaching design, improve teaching methods, create diversified teaching activities, give full play to students’ initiative and enthusiasm in the learning process, and improve the effectiveness of English classes.
