The 200nmile area along the eastern coast of Taiwan Province is a necessary part of the Kuroshio Current. It contains extremely rich and valuable migratory fish and yet to be developed. Techniques such as fishing technology, aquaculture and management, and aquatic products processing related to fisheries development are urgently needed to be improved .
