那年下岗后,为了养活老婆孩子和鳏居的父亲,我没日没夜四处打工挣钱,在建筑工地当小工,当清洁工扫大街,给人送桶装水,饱尝人世艰辛。这样的日子里,我依然坚持写作。一天,我在一家报上看到要招聘记者的启事,就将自己发表的文章整理了厚厚一摞,抱着来到报名点。笔试后,连我共有三人进入面试。另外两个,都是科班出身,我想我肯定不是他们的对手。报社主任让我们模拟现场采访和整理采访记录……结果出来,我的心凉了,我名次排第三。随后,主任领我们来到领导办公室,由他决定最终人选。等见到领导我们都惊讶地张大嘴巴,他竟然是盲人!
