中共中央宣传部出版局负责同志,就评书活动听取了本刊工作人员的汇报,并作了重要指示。指出,在中学生中开展评书活动很有意义,它是和当前全国开展的“五讲”、“四美”活动紧密配合的,对青少年建设社会主义精神文明起着积极的作用,所以应该提倡和支持。整个活动的指导思想应该是动员和号召中学生读好书,通过评书,引导青年养成读好书的风气和习惯,这样有助于青年长思想、长知识、长才干。同时就评书活动的具体做法作了指示。
