美国《航空周刊》2016年6月28日刊登文章称,隐身性能是美国F-22战斗机及F-35联合攻击战斗机的重要特点之一。不过,F-35的研发工作始于15年前,15年来,雷达技术不断发展,围绕隐身技术实用价值的争论已经升级。文章重新分析了隐身技术的基本问题、世界主要战机的雷达散射截面积、当前最先进的火控雷达技术,认为美军战机的隐身能力仍然是其维持生存能力的重要条件。
According to an article published by the Aviation Weekly on June 28, 2016, the stealth performance is one of the important features of the U.S. F-22 fighter and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. However, the research and development of the F-35 started 15 years ago. Over the past 15 years, radar technology has been evolving. The debate surrounding the practical value of stealth technology has been upgraded. This article re-analyzes the basic problems of stealth technology, the radar cross-sectional area of the world’s major fighters and the most advanced fire-control radar technology at present. It holds that stealth capabilities of U.S. fighters are still an important condition for their survivability.
