当代词学大师夏承焘先生,今年已届八十五高龄。最近,由中国韵文学会、杭州大学等主办,北京、浙江、湖南等地的学者、教授近三百人在北京集会,庆祝他从事学术与教育工作六十五周年。胡乔木特为题词「文坛先进,词学宗师」,以表热忱祝贺。夏承焘先生,字癯禅,又字瞿髯,浙江温州人,一九○○年生。早岁即以工词名振耆宿。三十岁前后,专攻词学,与朱彊村、吴梅诸先辈通问受教。其所著《白石歌曲旁谱辨》、《白石歌曲斠律》等及唐宋词人年
