January 11, 2005, “Urban Rail Transit Investment Project Risk Analysis ” project passed the identification of Beijing Municipal Construction Committee. Based on the analysis and research of risk theories and methods both at home and abroad, this paper proposes the concept of risk management planning for urban rail transit project for the first time, and uses expert investigation to identify risk factors. It applies qualitative and quantitative methods to estimate risks and applies Probability analysis and Monte Carlo method for risk assessment
