词汇是语言的建筑材料。人类的思维活动是借助词汇进行的,离开词汇,语言就没有了实际意义,正如语言学家D.A.Wilkins所说:without grammar very little can be conveyed,without vocabulary nothing can be conveyed.对于高中生来说,英语词汇是英语学习的基础,运用有效的词汇学习策略掌握新课标规定的英语词汇是成功掌握英语的前提。
Vocabulary is the language of building materials. Human thinking activities are carried out by means of words. Without words, language has no practical significance. As the linguist DA Wilkins said: without grammar very little can be conveyed Vocabulary is the basis of English learning. Using effective vocabulary learning strategies to master the English vocabulary stipulated in the new course standard is a prerequisite for mastering English successfully.
